One Day in the year of 1990, I had the recurring thought of "who was my Father's Father?" I called a cousin here in Indianapolis and asked where did my father come from. She said that she had always heard that he came form Rochester Indiana. A few days later Margaret and I drove up to that town in Fulton County Indiana. There in the town's public library we discovered a lot about my roots. I also discovered that though he lived until the day after Margaret and were married (Feb. 20th,1946) in San Francisco; I was totally unaware of his existence: So shattered and disrupted was my family tree. Margaret and I travelled to a lot of places tracing my background.Fulton Co.,Cass Co.,Johnson Co.,and Shelby Co. in Indiana. we also visited LickingCo.,Darke Co.,Perry Co., and Coshocton Co. in Ohio. We accessed records in Court houses, Libraries and Grave yards. We participated in Genealogy clubs. The end result is what you see in the files.
There is probably more information out there on my Great Grandfather "David Eddington" But I got weary of too many stone walls. Dad
