My family search began several years ago. It was an on and off endevor until I was contacted by Kieth Edkins out of the Northern section of England in February 2001. He connected me with my third cousin, Mary Hubbard of California. Between the information she had and the letters left by my Grandmother Edith DeHaven Edkins Connersville Indiana and my Great Uncle Thomas Randolph Edkins of California we have filled in much of the family tree back to the birth of Thomas Edkins of Alcester, Warwick County, England (1799,1875). The endevor has become an obsession with me and I expect I will spend many happy hours searching for my roots.
