My father's side goes back to Jamestown, VA., 1607 through John Bailey and to Isaiah Harrison b. 1666 in England, of whom Pres. Abraham Lincoln is a descendant, and so am I. We're cousins. This is fun. There's SO much more in here.
My Mother's side goes back to at least the early 1800's in Michigan. Her g.grandfather, Rev. David Pratt was first Pastor of Hudson, (Lanesville), Michigan, 1836, First Congregationalist Church. The second version of that church still stands.
Soldiers from the Revolutionary and Civil war,( everything from Privates to Generals) ,statesmen, abolitionists, world class architects, newspapermen, designers of machinery and printing equipment, farmers, home makers, laborers, a U.S. Consul to Germany during WWI, WWII veterans, heros from my past , and , most of all, my dear mother!

I will be publishing books soon on Joseph Frederick Buck's service during WWI, complete with never before seen pictures that he took himself while in Germany during the war, plus his commentaries, as a highly trained newspaperman, on various aspects of the war, and even love letters back to his girl friend, later to become my Grandmother!
