I don't have at this time information on my fathers grandparents,
I do know that my dad's parents moved to the Nicollet county area
and raised seven daughters and one son (my dad). Most of them lived
in the southern half of Minn, around Brown County, Emil and Hilda
after raising eight children, lived out there lives in SleepyEye,
Minnesota. Emil died (I think about 1957) and my grandmother Hilda
died in 1977. My father Eldred (same name as myself, although he never used full name as I did,he preferred to be called Al) Dad re-
married in 1960 to Mary Walker(Hopp),He died in Aug. 1966.(in DesMoines,IA)My Oldest brother Leon and secound oldest brother Ronald live in the DesMoines area. I served in the USAF for eight years and finally settled down in Portland OR. Was married in 1980 and have one daughter(Salina Marie). I'm seeking information about My Dad's Grandparent's. Emil lived in the Great Lakes area, and may have had seven brothers and also sisters. Hilda left Germany at the age of three that's all I can remember.
