William Green Edwards and his wife, Katherine Dowdy, began their married life in Lumpkin County, Georgia. They moved to the Adairsville area of Bartow County, Georgia in the early 1870s and remained there for the rest of their lives and are buried in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church cemetery near Adairsville in Bartow Co., GA.
