EDWARDS;Espie;Jamieson;Child;Nixon;Carter;Ritchie;Turnbull;
Morrison;Bagra. These are a few of the names I am researching. The Edwards,Child, Nixon, Carter roots are from Shropshire and Staffordshire, England. The Espie,Jamieson, Ritchie, Turnbull,Morrison and Bagra roots are from Scotland (esp. Glasgow).
My paternal grandparents were Charles Henry Edwards (1888-1973), and Sarah Olive Child Nixon(1885-1979). Both grandparents were born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England.
My maternal grandparents were Thomas Wilson Espie (1899-1953), and Elsie Gordon Jamieson (1899-1969), both of Glasgow, Scotland.
In addition , I have information about an Edwards family link to the Robert Child family (1739-1782) in England. I am interested in finding the link between the Child family and my paternal grandmother, Sarah Olive Child Nixon.
I would appreciate any information on the above families, and am interested in assisting others in their search.
