A suprisingly well spread out name globally - Australia, Canada, U.S.A. Scandinavia, just as starters from my own relations. I have the basis of a fairly comprehensive tree back to approx 1751,gleaned from sources and the helpful intervention of one Roger Clark - without whom.......
However, as always, links are needed, etc and also a genuine itch to see if our distant cousins can be connected up or found- certainly the Eeles name could have appeared in the States as far back as 1635! with a John aged 16 being taken on the ship 'America' from London - Canada saw an Edward, Finland saw a Joseph etc etc. Any info don't be shy.
