GLENDA KAY FILES HENNING
Welcome to the SLAPE, RAVAN, FILES, and BOWERMAN family connections. We have roots that date back from the England immigration to the settlement of the 13 British colonies founded between 1607 and 1732. Our family history includes members forced into the Indian Removal Act "trail of tears" and English Deportation of criminals "poaching on the King's Land." Our ancestors were ministers, legal authorities, teachers, medical professionals, landowners and most of all, just good, hardworking folks. Our families have experienced all of life's ups and downs just like any other family. Our bloodline includes European, American Indian, Mexican - Spanish and African American descent.
It is important to note our genealogical presence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Crippling Rheumatoid Arthritis, addictions of Alcoholism and Drug Addiction, Strokes, and Visual weaknesses. Also important is the generally high intelligence factor of our family members. Most of all, we seem to have a tendency for leadership in our communities and families with strong christian values. Our family has a high rate of college degreed professionals ranging back several generations.
