Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

About Our Family Research
I'm a beginning genealogist for the Eggiman family of Rochester, New York. Also, the Howden family (my mother) of Rochester, New York. We are a small bunch with very little extended relations. Also included are the Schubmels (my fathers cousins) in Syracuse, New York. I recently moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee and am beginning to realize that genealogy is much more popular in the south than it is up north, and that's what got me interested. I work at an archaeology firm based out of Georgia and have taken on ethnoarchaeological responsibilities, including researching and charting family trees for certain historical sites that we excavate.
