THESE PAGES SHOW CONNECTIONS TO THE FAMILIES MENTIONED ABOVE. FROM POLAND/RUSSIA, GERMANY AND ENGLAND CAME THESE MEMBERS TO THIS COUNTRY COMBINING THEIR STORIES AND THEIR GENES AS TOLD BELOW.
THE KLINGAMANS AND SHAFFERS CAME FROM GERMANY IN THE 1600'S AND THE TYES ARRIVED FROM ENGLAND IN THE 1600'S AS WELL. THE BERGERS, YAGLOVSKYS AND LOZMANS CAME FROM RUSSIA/POLAND IN THE LATE 1800'S.
THE SHAFFER NAME HAS HAD MANY VARIATIONS. THE KLINGAMAN FAMILY IS ALSO SHOWN AT TIMES AS CLINGAMAN OR WITH OTHER VARIATIONS OF THE VOWELS.
THE KLINGAMANS AND THE SHAFFERS CAME TO PENNSYLVANIA. THE TYES CAME TO MARYLAND AND VIRGINIA AND THE BERGERS SETTLED IN ILLINOIS AND OHIO.
