My family originated in Sulz, Russia. My Great Great Grandfather (Jacob Ehli)arrived in the US on May 19 1892 with his wife Frances Weber and son Raphael Ehli. They left Rotterdam on the ship Spaarndam. I believe Jacob's fathers name was Martin but have not been able prove that yet. Martin is a common name in the Ehli family. I have found some Martin Ehli's from Sulz, but none have had a child named Jacob. Any help would be appreciated.
