I have been searching and trying to find information about my "Farrell's" from Joliet, Illinois. My father, Joseph John Farrell was raised by his brother (Richard Farrell) and his wife (Josephine (Pelc) Farrell) after his mother had passed away. But....there is a family secret that I have been trying to solve and that is....when my fathers "mother" died she told Josephine to never tell him who his real mother was!! So...if anyone has any information on my Farrell's I would like to know. They may have spelled Farrell with only one "L" at one time.
