This home page is for the research of the family of John Robertson and Margrete Frame. They were married in Feb of 1793 in the state of Va. in the county of Augusta. I know that Margrete's father was John Frame. John Robertson was born in Maryland in 1769. No year on Margrete Frame's birth. Rev. John Mc Cue married them and a marriage bond was also issued in Jan. of 1793, in the county of Augusta,Va.
Have recently found Johns father and back to N. Ireland.
Johns father was Matthew Robertson. Matthew married Martha Paxton.
Matthews father was James Robertson. James married a Matheson woman.
James brother was John Randolph Robertson. He moved to N.Carolina and married a Gower lady. James father was Jonathan Robertson born in Scotland in 1686. He married in Coloraine N. Ireland an Elizabeth Randoloph.
She was born in 1690. They were married in 1710. Would like to find out where in Scotland Jonathan Robertson was born. So far have reached a dead end looking for Jonathan Robertson. No new information as of Jan. 2006.
