Claude Heathcock and Beatrice Cooper married in 1931. They had 6 children: Beverly Claudette; Sandra Lou; Shirley Ann; Michael Val; Lana Beth; and Stephanie Carol. Claude Heathcock's parents were Peter Henry Heathcock and Sarah Jane Samford. Peter Henry's parents were William Henry Heathcock and Martha Samford. Claude and Beatrice Heathcock lived in Pemiscot County, Holland, Missouri until 1955 when they moved to Mt. Zion, Illinois. Claude was an educator and finished his career in teaching at Mt. Zion, Illinois. Beatrice Heathcock died in 1981 and Claude Heathcock died in 1988. Claude had a number of siblings, including Lula Belle Mayhem (deceased) of St. Louis, Missouri; Viva Elizabeth Martin (deceased) of Southeast Missouri. We have kept in touch with our cousins from Viva Martin. LulaBelle Mayhem did not have any children. We are looking for any relatives from this side of the Heathcock clan.
