Family Research is just beginning. Patriarch of the family is Julia Ekness in Westby, MT. She has just completed a short memoirs with help from her daughter Aurlie Samsel. Aldis Vik of Bergen, Norway has also provided some Norwegian ancestral background which will be helpful in putting this together.

We held a family reunion as part of a 90th birthday celebration for Julia in Idaho at her son Lyle's place the summer of 1998.

As noted earlier, we will attempt to use this website to compile the information we know. Any additional information or input will be appreciated.
