My name is Ben Elder at the moment it is the 3rd of Oct 2000, I am 16 and 3/4. I decided to do a family tree to give my familys future generations a chance to here a story from a distant or mabye even dead relation.
I am the son of Phillip and Lynda Elder.
Phillip Anthony Elder is the son of James (Jim) Elder a Navy soilder and Elsie Jean Radcliffe a Purse Maker. He was born on September 25th 1958, he is the 7th child of 9, James Jnr (Jim), David, Annette, Nolyine, Christopher, Phillip, Robert, and Michael, and one deceased at birth a little girl.
They were born in Melbourne, Victoria, Then moved to the housing commision suburb of Inala in Qld, until they were old enough to move out. Jim is/was the Deputy Premier of Queensland, he married Carol and had 3 girls, Jemma Kate, Yvette and Alexandra. they divorced. David runs/ran a scaffolding business, so far not married but without us not knowing for years had a daughter when he was younger to an unknown woman. Annette had to sons to two men, Tosh Elder to Max, and Sean Elder to Alex, she lives/lived in Melbourne, Victoria. Christopher hasnt yet married. Nolyine married Rick Brittain and at 43 had a little girl called Maddison Jean, their pride and joy. Phillip married and divorced Lynda Milner and had four Children, Benjamin James, Anita Jade, Caitlin Jean-Esther and Dylan John, he married Margery Todd.
Robert has not yet married and Michael married Rachel Franklin and so far has had a little girl Bailey Elsie. Elsie Elder died in 1996 of cancer in the spine, and Jim Elder snr married Alma, and lives in Caboolture.
Lynda Denise Milner was born in the small counrtry town of Toogoolawah on November 10th 1956 to Reginald Milner a Forestry Worker (born on the 4th of October 1909) and Esther May Ward (born on the 4th of December 1921), the were married on the 12th April 1947 in Melbourne, Victoria. She was the 2nd child of four, Gary William John born in 1949. She lived in Toogoolawah for most of her childhood, until her dad died then with her mother moved to Auchenflower, Brisbane. Gary went into the army and Married a Vet Nurse, Catherine Louise Wetherall, known by family as Louise. They had 3 Daugthers, Stephanie born in 1977, Naomi born in 1979 and Lucinda Jane (Lucy), in 1981, they moved to Gladstone and then to Burpengary in Redcliffe.
Lynda met Phillip around 1980-1982 at a Football Match they married on the 27th of August 1983 in St David's Church, Chelmer in Brisbane. I was born on the 4th of December 1983, then came Anita Jade on the 9th January 1986, Caitlin Jean-Esther on the 8th May 1988 and then Dylan John in 1991, we moved from Red Hill where we were living to Wacol in 1991, and we still live there to this day.
