I have been researching my family tree for about 5 years. I was born in Junction, Texas, in 1957, my name is Richard Elizondo, my mother was also born there, her name is Isabel Hernandez Elizondo and she was born in 1937. My grandfather Manuel A. Hernandez (deceased) was also born in Kimble, County in 1910. My grandmother Feliz (Maria Felicitas Hernandez--deceased) was born in Chalchihuties, Zacatecas, Mexico--1910, but as a child she was raised in Medina and finally in Kimble, County--Junction, Texas--emigrated with parents on or about 1912. My grandfather's parents were from Mexico, his father was Juan Hernandez who was from Guerrero, Coahuila, Mexico, his mother Maria Aguirre Hernandez was born in Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico--emigrated to Kimble County on or about 1898. My grandmothers parents were also born in Mexico, her father was Apolonio Hernandez, born in Durango, Durango, Mexico. Her mother was Teodosia Perez Hernandez, she was born in Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, Mexico. We have relatives in Uvalde, Junction, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Dallas, Texas and other areas in Texas; We also have relatives in Bakersfield, California and probably other cities in California. Now my family on my father's side is not known that well. My father's name was Moises Elizondo, Sr.,--deceased. He was born in Mission, Texas. His mother is Zulema Solis Elizondo Salazar. His father is Jesus Elizondo--whom I really do not know anything about. Zulema was born in Mission, Texas, Jesus, I think was born in Mexico. My parents were divorced and not to much history is known about my father's side of the family. Well this is all for now.
