My father, Bennett Harkness Elkins Jr started working on his family tree about 10 years ago. Due to a terminal illness that first claimed his mind and then his body, he was unable to finish what he started. I decided that I didn't want my father's interest in his family tree to go unfulfilled so I've started where he left off. Now, I'm just as obsessed as he was. It is like an incredible adventure/treasure-hunt/mystery/thriller....I could go on.
