The Elya, Elyea, Cross families that make up our Cheboygan Connections came from Collingwood Ont. The Tallmans are said to have come from Rockville Ont. The Tatros came from Gananoque near the 1000 Island area of Ont. The familys are a mixture of blood lines being French, English, Irish, Scotch & Dutch. This tree also contains those Canadian Elyea's & as of 2001 still live in Collingwood, Ont Canada.
