I am seeking information of my ancestors. I know my father was Dewey Preston Emberton. He was born in Tennessee but later moved to Kentucky and married my mother, Elizabeth Simmons Emberton. I was born in Glasgow Kentucky in 1954. I have a brother, now deceased, named William Frank Emberton. He was born in 1955 and died 05-10-1980 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. My father lived in Bowling Green until his death in May of 1969. His Left leg was amputated below the knee and he wore a peg. Most people in Bowling Green knew him as Peg-leg Emberton.
