This a little bit of the history of Jonas Emmerich and Johann Heinrich Emmerich.

They arrived in Brasil in 1824, coming from the Hessen region of Germany.

Together with many other Germain families, they settled in Nova Friburgo, in the Rio de Janeiro state.
