I am looking for my great-grandfather, the father of Marion Francis Enloe. We had many family reunions in Skiatook, OK before my aunts and uncles died several years ago. My grandfather, Marion Francis, fathered several children. I have heard they migrated from Missouri and Tenn. Any helpful information on my Enloe relatives in Oklahoma will be appreciated.
My uncle Kitch Enloe married an Osage Indian, whom I liked very much. She died several years ago about the age of 85 and was listed on the Indian Roll as #9 and received oil royalities. I was told my grandmother, Charlotte Watkins Enloe was also part Indian. How much I do not know. However, I was also told my grandfather would not allow her to register because they did not want the money and their 'mixed marriage' was not too favorably accepted. Don't know.
