Family research has been a long process beginning in 1981 and continuing sporadically over the last twenty or so years. My grandfather and grandmother used to tell me stories of their ancestors but the spark did not hit until I received a box of pictures and information on my husband's family.

I've always been facinated by history. Learning my ancestors' places in our country's history is a great way to combine two of my passions. Another hobby is puzzles and genealogy is the best puzzle of all.
