Our name was originally Ebert, in the 1860s when my g-grandfather started school they spelled the name with a P instead of the B and he never bothered changing it back.Knowing this makes tracing the family back a little easier. I can trace our line of EBERTS back to 1790 in Pa. That would be Adam Ebert

Hannah Garrett abt 1820 ( she was bn Feb. 1801) They had a da. Catherina 1n 1822 who was bap. in the St. Johns Lutheran And Reformed Church in Freidensberg, Pa. Then the family disapears
until 1857 when young Adam ma. Margaret Juday in Elkhart Co. In.
They had two children James & Dora. I would like to find the parents of Adam in Pa in the 1790s. I believe this would take me directly to Germany.
We have an annual reunion of the Eperts, this year it will be held at Lake Wawasee in In., next year it will be in the mountainsin Southwestern Utah and the following year at Fox Lake, Ill. This is the rotation we follow for each year.
