Jesse R. Lafayette Brock 1804 Updated August 10, 2001
About Our Family Research
We have traced Jesse Brock, (1804 to 1879) from Macoupin County, Illinois, but can not seem to get back beyond that. He had two wives, Jane and Cornelia T. Each had several children. Our line has traced both of his families to the present. A son of his first family, Widdow And children of Thomas Newton Brown Brock, came to Oregon in 1888. Second family member, Samuel Bratton Brock, traveled in the South, through Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas during the early 1900's, before coming to Oregon in the thirties. It would be of great help if someone has a clue as to where he was born and his country of origin. Neither of his wives are identified with a last or middle name.
