in 1987 we had our first reunion at Lac Peltcher we had 120 cousins and uncles and aunts . they came from as far as wisconsin . and as close as frontier. we played games and had a lot of fun getting to know the rest of the family . then 5 years later we had another reunion this time it was held in cypress park and we had about 130 cousins and relitives attending . we played games and looked at pictures and we made a quilt . each family was to bring one square of material finished with their name on it and their family names. Then 5 mor years down the road we had another reunion back at the park again this time there was about 130 again but it was held in a different camp ground . but still in cypress park. only thing at this time we decieded to hold the next one in 3 years which was in the year 2000 . on the nelson side our grandmother was still living she is 97 years old. we also met 6 new cousins that attended our reunion this our next reunion is in 2003
