Research from NYC archives, cemetery records & remaining family members, etc. John born aprx 2/20/1930 in county Sligo (died 4/11/1881), came to Brooklyn 1849, married Mary McNight. Children-Thomas Joseph b4/9/1860 my great-grandfather),Elizabeth b 1862 d1929, James b1865 d 1891, Sarah? daughter or daughter-in-law b 1865 d 1939, John F b 1864 d1936, Lawrence b 1868 d 1943,Philip b 1870 d 1898. All the children were born in Brookly NY. Thomas married Bridget Howe, I believe she had 1 sister, Rebecca. Children-Thomas b 1897 d 1968,James b1886 d1938, Margaret b1904 d 1952, Robert b1900 d 1948, Helen b1895 d1981 (Aunt Mae died while cutting her hedges from a heart attack- I didn't know she had one) John my grandfather b 1885 d 1920. John married Anna Callaghan aprox 1908 or 09. Children- Lawrence d 2 mos old 2/1910,Rita b 1912 d8/31/32, Helen b1913? d 1991, Mary, my mother b 12/5/16 d 1/8/88, Robert d 3 mos 12/1918.
