This web page is a work in progress...researching the ancestors of M. Mark Estep...The Estep line travels from Oklahoma City through Hot Spring county Arkansas and then into Tennessee.

Indeed the search is one that increases exponentially with each generation…adding not only new names but also new branches to one's tree.

Regrettably this endeavor even with the aid of computers and email is still very labor intensive and will take some time to research and push past the early 1800's.

This is what G'ma Lynch wrote on back (not dated): Thomas Jefferson (always was called Boss Estep) at age 30. Wife Rosy Estep age 25. Taken at Malvern Arkansas about 42 years ago. Don't think I realized it was Jefferson. Don't know when they were born but was a little younger than my Mother & Daddy (1900 & 1906) I think. Mom
