The Title for this site, "CLEO'S NEST" is in honor of my mother, Cleo Maxine NOEL ESLICK HOLM. And the letters of my name, Colleen, are found in the title. My research covers my family ESLICK/NOEL, my first husband's family WEST/SCRIPTER and my second husband's family ESZLER/WILL, my mother's second marriage HOLM, my maternal grandmother's second marriage DUNHAM. Other related names EDWARDS, McBRIDE,BARNHART, BLUNT, BATEMAN, POTTER, WELCH, WILLIAMS, BARNWELL, WILSON, AMOS, MACKEY, MOORE, STUDIVAN, ADDINGTON, YOUNG, DABNEY, HARSHMAN, HOWARD, SELLERS, BRIDGES, LAMB, BURKE, RUSH, HODGES. My second husband's parents came from Russia. His paternal lineage, Eszler/Iszler/Isler came from Switzerland through Germany to Russia while his maternal ancestors came from Poland to the same area in Russia. His parents came to America separately and met, married and had their family in North Dakota. He was first generation American. I have enjoyed raising six children out of seven. I lost one daughter at age 3-1/2 mo. and a son at age 39. I now have 19 grandchildren and 31 (1/2) grgrandchildren. Pretty good for an only child? I hope to get everything of my family tree organized for my descendants before my time on earth is up. And this is one way I have to use. I have Multiple Sclerosis and am pretty much confined to home and my PC. Look forward to hearing from lots of you "cousins" in the coming days. I will be happy to exchange information and pictures with all.
