My search began in Frankin County, North Carolina, unexpectatly, where I stumbled across a marriage certificate of my great-grandparents. The marriage certificate included the names of their parents and the county in which they were living when their children married. Strange how through-out the years it never crossed my mind to investigate my roots. This lead me to Warren County, North Carolina to investigage my great-grandmother. Although, I'll be the first to admit, it has not been an easy task but one I have much enjoyed. Most of my family is now gone...Death has taken quite a few at an early age and some later in life. I felt as if I owed those loved ones and ancestors of the past a great tribute..and what a better way then to let the world know...THEY LIVED.
