I am still in the starting phase of my research. What research I have uncovered has shown me that the name originated in Dumbarton, Scotland when Scotland was a Viking Territory. Eury's are known to be in the Normandy Region of France as well. I personally know of two graves of Eury's that died in WWII. One on D-day and the other some months later. I only know of my family tree to my father. My grandfather for some odd reason broke off ties with the family long before I was born. I never saw him, and he died some 10 years ago. Maybe I can use this page as my way to link back to the family, or it may just be another vain attempt. I think that it is nice to at least know where you came from. The Eury family has a new addition as of August 28, 2002. Liam Matthew Eury was born in Viersen, Germany, from my girlfriend Stefanie Van Dongen. We will marry on my return to the states in October.
