Hi there,
My name is Nye Evans, born in South Wales in the United Kingdom.
This is my first attempt into the world of geneology.
I am looking into both my late parents family tree lines, and doing the same search for my wife's late parential lines also.
My biggest problem is knowing where to go for information at each stage of the search, as between us we have families in England, Wales, several States in America, and possibly Australia & New Zealand.
We have made a few inroads into the search with the help of close & distant family members and friends who are checking their own lines, some of which seem to cross somewhere in the 1800's and possibly with connections into the 1700's as well.
We are both enjoying the searches,but they can be very frustrating trying to sort out the next move.
We are using the Broderbubd Family Tree Maker which really does throw out a lot of information as well as interlinking when the family trees are printed.
