The Jordan Evans and Delilah Reynolds of NC and KY Updated August 27, 2005
About Our Family Research
I have traced my family from the Carolinas to Ohio County and Daviess County Kentucky, where it is rich in Evans history. I am a descendent of Ebenezer Evans, one of Jordans sons. Other children were Theodrick,Duncan,Fatima, Sarah Jane, Augustus J., Morrison Madison and James Reynolds. I have gotten past Jordan Evans with the help of a person on the internet, but I'm not sure how good his research is. I need a second opinion. Another mystery is that there is a claim that Delilah was a Cherokee indian. She was not allowed to be buried in a cemetery. That in itself seems strange. I have found the general area of where she was to be buried, but have not found the burial site. Any help on completing this family tree would be helpful. Be nice at a four-way stop because you maybe looking at a long lost cousin. Anyway, it is just good to be nice. EE
