Evans is my married name. I hve been trying to find information on both my parents families as well as my husband's. I have not found a lot, but do know some of their histories. My father's family had a reunion a few years ago. His ancestor settled in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, in the 1600's. There has been a family tree done on his family. I would like to have a tree made for all sides of the family, so that my children will know where they came from. There may not be a lot of information about my husband's family. It is said that my husband's great-grandfather was Spanish and jumped ship in Newfoundland, so his name was probably anglized. We know he married a woman from Bonavista, Newfoundland. The family lived in St. John's, Newfoundland. My mother's people were from Spaniard's Bay, Newfoundland. I have found some information about them, but I would like to know more. My father's family name is Sullivan and my mother was a Vokey. My mother-in-law's maiden name was Everard of St. John's.
