I have been researching my grandmother's family.her name was gracie ella banks(williams)evans born march4,1896 died march24,1966.Her mother's name was ella banks who left her to be raised by her grandparents nelson and nancy brown banks and moved to new york. ella later was supposed to have moved back to petersburg,va. where our ancestors were from and where most of us still live today,but cannot find anything else on ella.my granmother's father's name was lucius williams who was also from petersburg,va. and moved to new york as well, Ihave no information on him. I am also looking for my granfather's family.Hisname was Robert Abrham Evans born 15june1893 and diednov.1971.theonly information i have on him is he had some siblings and they were: marie evans,dorthy(doll)allen last lived in ptgs.,va.,norfleet evans of ny,martha&rebecca evans of dc,spawny&lillith dixon,rose,joe of ri,oliver allen of ny. wouldlike to here from any cousins and other relatives.
