I know that the Evans side has been traced to London and that my great-grandfather and a brother were stowaways and came in though Canada. My great-grandfather settled in Webb City, MO, but we know nothing of the brother or other siblings.
The Pierson family is unknown to me. I know my grandmother's sisters' names and that is about all I know.
The Witherspoon family is related to John Witherspoon, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. I heard that the family was traced at one time by a cousin of my grandfather (Walton Thomas), but no one knows who traced the family or how to get in touch with them.
I also know that an ancestor was head of what is now Okalhoma or Oklahoma State University, and I believe he is the one who traced the Thomas/Witherspoon family.
The Snider family is from southern Missouri and questions remain on the spelling of their name. At one time it was spelled Snyder. This could be a misspelling of Schneider. The family was true hillbillies.
I know nothing at all about the Perriman family and I am not sure of the spelling.
