Hello, I am Sandra Darlene Evans born 2/12/1968 to Fritz L. Marugg & Darlene Elizabeth Heims, Monticello IA.
I am in the process of trying to find information on my Mother's family: HEIMS. My Grandfather Clarence Joseph Heims was born 6/28/1918 to Henry Bernard (?) Heims (5/20/1870 - 4/15/1937) and Mary Frances Lux (1/6/1879 - 12/11/1945). Clarence married Helen Rosina Besler, (born 6/4/1907) on 12/28/1939.Helen is the daughter of John Besler (8/13/1880 - 2/11/1945) and Elizabeth Mae(Welter) Besler (11/5/1884 - 12/13/1960) Worthington IA. I have only this much information. I do know that my ancestors were farmers by trade. They are of devoute Catholic faith. I do not know where my family originally came from. I do know that they were in the Worthington, Dyersville, Hopkinton Iowa area.
