My late father, Charles A. Eves ("Shorty"), son of John Ernest, son of Ralph Columbus Eves, son of John Eves (of Louisiana) and Oma/Maoma/Naoma Hendley (of Texas).
Ralph's siblings were Willie, Sarah, Ora, and Nellie and his children were Naoma, Saddie, R.C.Eves, and John Ernest. His wife was Pearl M. Eves. Maiden name unknown.
John Ernest's two children by Jewell Kathryn Flatt were my father Charles Allen Eves, Sr. and Nelda Kathryn Eves, all from Texas.
