Not a strange land at all. Canada is a great place to live but I am having a little difficulty tracing my family history. I am originally from Lincolnshire in England. I came to Canada in 1999 and settled here with a young Canadian lady I met on ICQ, we married and now have a son 4yrs old. While living in England I started my family history research in 1985 or thereabouts. I have traced my family back to the early 1700's on a paternal line and would like to branch out now so to speak. A family tree is a great thing to do for my son it shows him his ancestors from way back and where they lived. At some time in the future he may look at the family tree I am creating and decide to visit places his ancestors called home.
