My name is Jacqueline Eyerly. I am researching the Eyerly family tree. My Grandfather had an interesting name ,Ulysses Grant Eyerly, I have always wondered if my great Grandfather Peter was a Union soilder in the Civil War and perhaps named his son after the General U.S.Grant. I have the names of his parents , but beyond that I have nothing. I started with social security numbers and obtained copies of my Grandfathers ssn and Grandmothers ssn.
