I am just starting my family search, but it is difficult as information is not clearly available from my grandparents line.
My grandmother on Mum's side was:
Wilhelmina Lauria May (October 2, 1908), born in Peterborough, Ontario. She passed away on (March 4, 1979) in Toronto, at her daughter Velma's home on Norwood Road in the spare upstairs bedroom and is buried in her family plot in Peterborough in Little Lake Cemetary. She had diabetes, her legs were removed from below the knees. There was a lawsuit. I miss her terribly and wish I could learn all about our family history.
My grandfather was:
Laird Samuel May (September 20, 1902) born in , Ontario. He is buried in the war section in Pine Hills Cemetary in Scarborough (Kennedy and St. Clair Avenue). He died from falling down the stairs while drinking on ( 1961).
I Susan Fadden (February 14, 1965), born in Toronto (Toronto Western Hospital) at (Bathurst/Dundas) live common-in-law with David Parfett(March 6, 1960) of St. Lambert, Quebec, born in (Montreal, Quebec) at 33 Eastfield Crescent, Courtice, Ontario (Townline/Bloor). His parents are immigrants from England. He has one brother Richard Stanley Parfett (January 10, 1962), born in (Montreal, Quebec)( married to Caitlin Imrie-Parfett(November 15, 1966), born in (Ottawa, Ontario) they have a daughter Charlotte born February 28, 1999 (Ottawa, Ontario). His sister Julianne (October 5, 1958) born in (Montreal, Quebec) is married to Roy Williams,(Ottawa, Ontario) they have three children Jennifer (September 18, 1988); Eric (November 17, 1990), and Adam (November 13, 199)(All born in Ottawa, Ontario). His mother is Anne Elizabeth Wilson-Parfett (November 13, 1931), born (Bristol, England) and his father is Clifford Parfett (July 7, 1931), born (London, England).
My family is:
Mum Edna Marion May-Fadden-Powell (December 28, 1934); born (New Liskeard, Ontario); My father: John (Jack) Fadden (September 22, 1931)born (). My sister is Linda Noel Fadden-Cigan (December 26, 1966),born (Toronto Western Hospital); married to John Cigan (October 8, 1965), they have two children Tiffany Amanda Cigan (July 12, 1988) and Mason Presley Cigan (July 28, 1997) both born at (Scarborough Grace Hospital). My brother Darryl Kim-Robin Fadden (October 27, 1969) born (Scarborough General Hospital) is married to Jennifer -Fadden ( ), they have one son Nicolas George Fadden (January 4, 2000) born (Markham/Stouffville Hospital).
I have no children as of yet, just two cats whom I love dearly.
My mother's siblings are:
1. Eleanor May (She passed away in the late 1920's or the early 1930's as an infant. Not much is known about her.
