I have been researching the beginnings of the McKenzie and Faeth families in America. The McKenzie ancestry was started back in the early 60's by my Aunt Barbara in St Paul, Minnesota. I am trying to link Donald McKenzie born on February 2, 1822. He married Catherine Quigg on March 28,1845.

The Faeth family roots are from South Dakota. Louis Joseph Faeth was born in Russia and the family migrated to America. I have the nauturalization papers but need to link up to the Russian family. He was born on September 10,1897. He was raised in Aberdeen, S. Dakota. If anyone has any other information on this please contact me at edfaeth@hotmail.com

The Emerson family is from Robert Emerson. This links the Dunklee, Pratt, McKenzie families. I can get back to two generations from the Mayflower but can not verify the line back from Phineas Pratt born on August 29, 1740 in Malden Massachusetts. His daughter Lydia married William Emerson of New Hampshire and their daughter Harrriet married Chester Dunklee which is the link to the McKenzie family.
