I am looking for relatives of my mother's parents (Meckbach) who came to Pennsylvania, via Kentucky (I believe) in the 1800's (1850 on). I know that they came from Germany (Yosse, far-eastern border; Wehrda, Hessen, and Nassau). Some of their ancestors came from Grossmoor and some settled in Central Germay in 1200 following an exodus from Holland. Some of the ancestor names were Witzel (not sure if this is correct spelling), Smith, Manns, and Diesenbergh. Any information would be appreciated. It may be possible that there were different spellings for the name Meckbach (McBaugh, Meckbaugh).
