This is the Homepage for Dale & Deb Fagre and our three sons, Justin (18), Aaron (16) & Ryan (14). We live in Plymouth, MN, a western suburb of Minneapolis.
What got us interested in geneology is Dale's search for information on his birth parents. Since 1989, we have slowly been trying to locate the name of Dale's birth mother. Initially, we contacted Lutheran Social Services (Dale's adoption agency) to try and obtain any medical information since we had three small sons at the time. What we found was that Dale's birth mother was single and had placed him for adoption rather than try to raise him alone. We also were told that she probably died around 1962. Dale's birth father never established paternity, though records indicate they knew quite a bit about him. During the summer of 2001, we received permission from the Juvenile Court Judge to obtain Dale's orginal birth certificate. It was then we learned that his birth mother's name was Gly Olive Hendrickson. We then were able to obtain her original birth certificate and found she was born in Great Falls, MT on January 19,1932 to Arthur J. and Amy H. (Bjork) Hendrickson.
That is all we know at this point. We have not been able to find Gly Olive Hendrickson in the social security death records or through any other means up to this point. Of course we will continue to search until we have more information......it is an exciting adventure!
