Hello and welcome to my family tree. I have to acknowledge my sister Sarah. She is our family historian. Using the resources from family members and articles about our ancestors,this is what I have so far.
Our family comes from knitters. In a small upstate New York town called Amsterdam, is a village called Hagaman. This is where the Harrower Knitting Mills stand. The original mill still stands today, but is used as a small mall.
Amsterdam is where I was born in 1960. The Harrower Mansion, located in Amsterdam is a nursing home.Most of the Harrowers are buried in Hagaman.
My dad was one of three children. Lewis the eldest is currantly in a nursing home in Amsterdam. My Dad passed away in 2000 and his sister Ellie passed away shortly after from cancer.
We are German English Scotch and Irish with a touch of French. I have just recently decided to pick up where I left off with this family tree. I hope this can continue with the help of more relatives both here in the United States and world wide.
