I started this family tree when when dad was in the hospital in 1997 and many, many family members came to visit him. Many of them I had seen often at family gatherings and many of them I had just met. Mom always said that we had a ‘big” family. It was interesting to find that some of the family that I had just met, I had seen often, but didn’t know we were related. Imagine that! I started to gather as much information as I could at the time. Well, months later life took over, I got "busy" and my interest in the "family tree" waned.
When mom was sick in the hospital in 2008 . . . my interest in the family tree was renewed. This time with more vigor. Uncle Florendo Dagdagan who spent many days and nights with me at the hospital with mom, talked and talked about family. My interest increased and it seemed important to find more family members to see how we are all connected and to continue the family tree.
A trip to my parents homeland in 2008 to Badoc (mom) and Balbaldez (dad), Ilocos Norte, Philippines, was a highlight in updating this family tree and gave me the motivation to continue.
The family information I have gathered here are from "interviews" with family members and internet research. Please send me additional information, pictures, videos, articles, etc of family members. If you find the information posted is listed wrong, please contact me so that I can update the tree.
My family, I give this legacy, our family tree to you. I hope that this will bless and give you and your posterity information, knowledge and appreciation of our family.
