Dear Gentlemen Genforum: I have been trying to look for a long time family of my great-grandfather Gregorio Fastuca who was born in Vizzini, Catania, Sicily, in May of 1870. We don't know who were their parents, neither if he/she had siblings. Fundamental data, since we have been several of last name Fastuca who we believed that they were our great-grandfathers or grandparents of the same time children of unknown parents, and in fact if they present the same last name and we cannot find a nexus, only the last name. Among them, I was able to discover to: Michelle Fastuca some years young than Gregorio. Antonino Fastuca María Fastuca 1889 1 - Is it possible that they don't find registrations of their births? 2 - Did they belong to an orphan boy home? 3 - Who baptized them? 4 - How is it that Gregorio and Michelle Fastuca was together in Ellis Inland 1907? 5 - Did they know each other and then for that didn't leave knots of union among them? 6 - Why nobody anything knows about them? I am really looking for a while ago. I have paid in www.ancestry.com / www.myfamily.com in May 100 dollars, and every time that I need a search, they request me more money. It finds me to it a lack of total seriousness, I don't also have repairs in to say it for that my time is very valuable and it seems that for them it is a simple game. For my it is fundamental to find those knots (matches) as they call it the genealogists to go advancing. My purpose is much deeper the construction of the tree. The most important thing is to complete my father's biography who was an excellent human being; he/she taught the ethics, moral, the good customs, and me. He left this life, to the 72 years old, on the way to unite with their ancestry in December 1 2001 In spite of being a great specialist and founder with the permission of Rome, of the Association Dante Alighieri of Ramos Mejía, County of Buenos Aires, Argentina, it could not conclude with this search, particularly very important era. I wait that they know how to understand, my insistence. The best regards Angela Fastuca MD
