Why didn't someone tell me about all these ancestors, where they came from and all that they had accomplished along the way. It wasn't until we neared the end of the 20th century that I found out about my "roots" and I still have more to dredge up. Can any one reading this help me?
My norwegian ancestry seems to be well documented as are the descendants of my ancestor John Fay of Marlborough England, but my Carman family was a little tougher to come by and my mother's paternal family line is yet to be tracked down. A lot of work lies ahead.
