My Grandparents, Abraham Feist-born 1871 and his wife,
Rose Drucker, were lifelong residents of Brooklyn, New York and
Coney Island in particular.
My father was Henry (Henny) Feist - (1898-1987).
My mother was Hattie Fishbein - (1902-19779).

The Feists are decendants of Abraham and Rachel Feist, born before 1800 in Germany.
Their son was Jacob (1812-1892) - Jacob's wife was Sophia Kleimenhagan (1817 -1872). Jacob and his wife immigrated to New York City.

Feists have enlisted in the U.S. armed services and taken part in every war since the Mexican wars.
