Frederick William (Sievert) Siewert married (unknown)and had five children that we know of. It is not known what happened to this wife. The five children emmigrated to America when older. Frederick later followed his children to America with a new wife Mathilde and another set of eight children in 1892.
MINNIE SIEWERT was the first to come to America at age 21 in 1888 from Pomerania. ROBERT A SIEWERT came next at age 21 in 1888 from Pomerania, then FRANK SIEWERT, came at age 20 in 1890, then EMIL K SIEWERT came at age 18 in 1892 from Pomeranian ,(Koblenz) Germany and finally AUGUSTE SIEWERT came at age 18 in 1893 from Muncheberg Germany.They probably settled in the area because it resembled their homeland in Germany.
Frederich and Mathilde (Bucholz)Siewert, his second wife sailed from Hamburg, (Prussia) Germany to Baltimore Maryland on the ship Scandia.They arrived on May 20,1892 with their eight children ranging from 13 years to 3 months old. Their children were PAUL SIEWERT, THEODORE SIEWERT, ANNA SIEWERT, BERTHOLD SIEWERT, ERNEST SIEWERT, JOHANNA SIEWERT, WILLIAM SIEWERT AND AMELIA SIEWERT THE BABY.
